How I turned my apartment into a place where I can finally relax
"You don't need to change your entire apartment to feel more peace in it."
When I moved in, I had a beautiful, spacious apartment. But something was missing. The walls were empty, the shelves straight as a ruler – and although it was clean and modern, it didn't feel like home.
One day, a friend gave me a small propagation station with a plant cutting. I placed it on the windowsill and noticed how it completely changed the atmosphere. Suddenly, it wasn't just a "thing in a glass tube." It was a living piece of nature that greeted me in the morning when I made my coffee.
So I added another plant. And then a wooden plant stand. And finally, a wall holder for an air plant. Gradually, my apartment turned into a green oasis where I come to relax after work. The wood pairs beautifully with the leaves, creating a feeling that I am somewhere in nature – even though I live in the city.
Today I know that plants and wood are not just decorations. It is a small ritual – you care for them, observe them, propagate new indoor plants in rooting stations, and at the same time, you feel like you are breathing in more peace every day.
And you know what the best part is? That it only takes a few details for this transformation. One plant stand, one holder, one propagation station. Small wooden pieces that can change the entire feel of a space.
Why combine wood and greenery
-
Wood feels warm and natural
-
Houseplants purify the air and bring energy
-
Together they create a cozy, balanced interior
-
Fits into both modern and rustic spaces
This combination is not just aesthetic – it is a ritual of care and peace.
