Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are all the products in your store truly handmade?

Yes, absolutely every wooden product you see in our collection is handcrafted in our workshop in Slovakia. We do not sell any mass-produced items; instead, we focus on honest craftsmanship. That is why every plant stand, wooden vase, or propagation station is an absolute original, thanks to the unique wood grain.

Do you also make custom wooden accessories and plant stands?

Of course! We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, such as precise laser engraving. Thanks to this, we can create not only custom dimensions but also personalized products and custom corporate gifts (for example, for weddings or team building events).

What materials are your products made of?

The foundation of our products is premium solid wood. Most often, we use walnut, ash, oak, plum, acacia, and spruce. The wood surface is then treated with eco-friendly natural oils that enhance its grain and protect it. Parts that come into long-term contact with soil (such as plant climbing poles and supports) are protected with a special epoxy resin for maximum durability.

How fast will my order be delivered?

We do everything we can to get your piece of nature to your home as quickly as possible. Since we are dedicated to honest handcrafting, many popular products are finalized and finished only after an order is received. Therefore, the standard delivery time is usually 4 days, which allows us to deliver a product of flawless quality. You can always see the exact availability directly on the specific product page.

What is the weight capacity of the LUNA, UNDA, or ARCUS wall shelves?

Our wall shelves made of solid acacia wood are very sturdy. When properly and securely mounted to the wall (using appropriate wall anchors), they easily hold standard medium and larger houseplants, even in heavier ceramic pots.

Do you provide mounting hardware with the wall shelves?

The mounting method always depends on your wall type (brick, drywall, concrete). For this reason, mounting hardware (wall anchors and screws) is not included by default, allowing you to choose the safest solution for your specific interior. However, the shelf itself has precise, hidden cutouts on the back for extremely easy hanging.

What kind of wood are your stands made from?

We work exclusively with high-quality solid wood. Our wall-mounted models (LUNA, UNDA, ARCUS) are made from durable and beautifully colored acacia. For free-standing plant stands and rotating pedestals (like the VERTIGO model), we also use locally sourced solid spruce, ash, or walnut.

Are the plant stands treated against water damage from watering?

Yes, our wooden products are honestly treated with high-quality natural oils that protect the wood from normal humidity and enhance its grain. Nevertheless, we always recommend using plant saucers or waterproof decorative cover pots so that the wood does not sit in direct contact with standing water.

How does the VERTIGO 360° rotating stand work?

This unique plant stand features a high-quality, hidden rotating mechanism. Thanks to this, you can very easily and smoothly rotate even a heavy plant at any time. This ensures an even supply of sunlight from all sides, preventing it from leaning or deforming towards the window light.

Which houseplants are best suited for water propagation?

Water propagation in test tubes is highly successful with trailing and aroid plants. Absolute favorites include Pothos, various types of Monstera, Philodendron, Syngonium, Tradescantia, and Spider Plants (Chlorophytum). Home herbs like mint or basil also root very well in them. Conversely, succulents do not do well with this method.

Are the glass test tubes included with every stand?

Yes, absolutely. With every wooden propagation station, whether it's the simple ELEMENT model, the wall-mounted ALCHEMY, or the romantic ATRIUM, we include perfectly fitting, high-quality glass test tubes. This means you can start propagating immediately after unboxing.

How often should I change the water in the test tubes?

For the healthy development of the root system, we recommend changing the water in the test tube about once every 7 to 10 days, or whenever you notice the water becoming cloudy. Fresh water contains oxygen, which cuttings absolutely need to prevent rotting.

Can propagation stations be used for other purposes?

Of course! Our BotaneryLab™ stands are extremely versatile. If you aren't currently propagating new houseplants, you can fill the tubes with water and insert fresh cut flowers, or empty the water and arrange dried eucalyptus, pampas grass, or other dried botanicals. This gives you a gorgeous year-round decoration.

What about the stability and mounting of the wall-mounted propagation stations?

The wall-mounted models are designed for maximum safety and stability. Heavier wooden stands (such as ALCHEMY) have integrated hidden mounts—so-called keyhole slots—on the back. You simply place the stand over one or two screws in the wall (depending on the model) and slide it down. This anchors it firmly, making a fall almost impossible. Conversely, our lighter models, which are mostly laser-cut (such as ATRIUM), are adapted for quick and easy hanging on a single classic nail. In both cases, precise balancing prevents tilting even when the test tubes are full of water and heavier cuttings.

Are the wooden tables stable enough for heavy ceramic plant pots?

Yes, our wooden tables and plant pedestals are crafted using honest carpentry techniques exclusively from solid wood (such as ash, walnut, or spruce), and for some models, we use stable metal bases. As a result, they have a high weight capacity and can easily support larger and heavier houseplants (like Monstera or Ficus) in heavy ceramic pots.

Will watering plants damage the wooden stand?

During production, our solid wood is professionally treated with high-quality natural oils that reliably protect it from normal air humidity and occasional water drops. However, we always recommend using a plant saucer or a waterproof cover pot to prevent water from pooling on the wood for a long time. This ensures your side table maintains its beauty for years to come.

What does it mean when a product is a "one of kind"?

Some of our premium pieces, such as the MONOLITH designer walnut table, are crafted from exceptional pieces of wood with such specific grain patterns, live edges, or textures that they cannot be identically replicated. When you purchase a product with the "single original" label, you are guaranteed to own an absolute unique piece that no one else in the world has.

How to care for Tillandsias in a wooden holder?

Air plants absorb water and nutrients through tiny scales on their leaves called trichomes. Once every 1 to 2 weeks, simply remove them from the stand and submerge them in a bowl of stagnant or rainwater for 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, let them dry thoroughly (ideally upside down) so that water does not remain in the heart of the plant, and then place them back into the wooden holder.

Can I glue the Tillandsia to the wooden stand?

Although some growers do this, our holders (such as the flexible FLEXI 3-in-1 model or geometric wall models) are designed so the plant sits freely and securely. Loose placement makes it easier to remove for regular bathing while protecting the wooden stand from unnecessary contact with water.

Do air plants need direct sunlight?

No, in their natural environment, they grow under the canopy of trees. They thrive best in a spot with bright, indirect light. Avoid direct summer sunlight (for example, right behind a window), as it could scorch their leaves.

Are wooden vases suitable for constant contact with water?

Wood itself is not designed to hold standing water directly. That's why our vases are designed to include a removable glass test tube or protective insert. You pour water exclusively into this glass, which perfectly protects the solid wood from moisture and preserves its beauty and strength for years to come.

How to care for a wooden vase so it lasts as long as possible?

Maintenance is extremely simple. The surface of our vases is professionally treated in our workshop with high-quality natural oils that enhance the wood grain and protect it. For routine cleaning, simply wipe the vase with a dry or very slightly damp cloth. If you accidentally splash the wood while pouring water into the test tube, just wipe it dry.

Is every wooden vase truly unique?

Exactly! Since we work exclusively with natural solid wood, no two trees in nature are exactly alike. Therefore, each of our vases has its own unique grain pattern, specific shade, and tiny natural details. You are buying a genuine, one-of-a-kind piece of nature that no one else will have in exactly the same form.

How do you install the wall clips for trailing plants?

Installation is extremely simple and requires no drilling or damage to your walls. Our wooden MONSTERA clips use high-adhesion sticky pads (included in the package) located on their back. Just stick them to the desired spot on the wall and gently insert the plant stem.

Are the wooden plant supports resistant to moisture from the soil?

Yes, we specifically kept soil contact in mind during production. The bottom part of our wooden supports (such as LADDER or MONSTERA STICK) that comes into direct contact with moist substrate is treated with highly durable epoxy resin, similar to what is used in boat building. As a result, they are guaranteed to resist moisture, mold, and rot inside the pot.

Can the wooden coasters be washed?

After laser cutting, our TROPIC MIX and MONSTERA LEAF wooden coasters are professionally stained and then treated with a natural food-safe oil. This process gives them natural resistance to heat from coffee cups and standard moisture from sweaty glasses. However, we do not recommend washing them in a dishwasher or soaking them in water for long periods. If they get dirty, simply wipe them with a damp cloth and let them air dry.
