1. Identification of the Seller

2. Definitions and Terminology

2.1. Seller: A person acting within the scope of their business activity when concluding and performing a consumer contract.

2.2. Buyer (Consumer): A natural person who does not act within the scope of their business activity when concluding the contract.

2.3. Claim of Defect (Warranty Claim): The process by which the Buyer notifies the Seller of the non-conformity of the goods with the contractual requirements.

2.4. Custom-made Goods: Products manufactured according to the specific requirements of the consumer (e.g., engraving, atypical dimensions, custom surface finish).

3. Order and Conclusion of Contract

3.1. The Buyer orders goods via the electronic form on the website.

3.2. By submitting the order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these GTC.

3.3. The purchase contract is concluded at the moment the Seller's order confirmation is delivered to the Buyer's e-mail address.

4. Prices, Discounts, and Payment Terms

4.1. All product prices are final. The Seller is not a VAT payer. If the Seller becomes a VAT payer, prices will be stated including the current VAT rate.

4.2. Price Transparency: If the Seller provides a discount on a product, they also state the lowest price at which the product was sold during the 30 days prior to applying the discount.

4.3. Shipping and handling costs are stated in the shopping cart before completing the order.

4.4. The Buyer may pay by bank transfer, online card payment, or other methods available in the cart. The Seller provides a cashless payment option for personal pickup.

4.5. Delivery and Payment Methods: Detailed information on current shipping prices, delivery times, and payment methods is provided in the "Shipping and Payment" section on the Seller's website. By submitting the order, the Buyer confirms they have been informed of these terms.

5. Delivery Terms

5.1. The Seller shall deliver the goods to the Buyer no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the contract, unless a different delivery time is specified for a particular product (e.g., custom production).

5.2. Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer is obliged to check the integrity of the packaging. In case of visible damage to the parcel, the Buyer is obliged to file a damage report with the carrier.

5.3. The risk of damage to the goods passes to the Buyer upon receipt of the goods.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Return of Goods)

6.1. Statutory Period: The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

6.2. Contractual Benefit (Extended Period): The Seller grants the Buyer an additional period to return the goods beyond the statutory period (14 days), for a total duration of 28 days from the receipt of the goods.

• Within 14 days: The statutory regime applies. The Seller will refund the full amount for the goods to the Buyer, including the costs of the cheapest standard delivery method to the customer.

• From the 15th to the 28th day: The Buyer has the right to a refund of only the purchase price of the goods. The original delivery costs to the customer are not refunded in this extended period. The goods must be returned unused, undamaged, in their original packaging, and with all accessories.

6.3. Exception to the Right of Withdrawal (Custom-made Goods): In accordance with § 19 para. 1 lit. c) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll., the Buyer cannot withdraw from a contract the subject of which is the supply of goods made according to the consumer's specific requirements, custom-made goods, or goods intended specifically for a single consumer.

In the context of the WoodenBotanery e-shop, this applies primarily to:

• products with personalized engraving (names, dates, logos),

• products with atypical dimensions made at the Buyer's request,

• products with a surface finish (color, oil) not included in the standard offer.

For such goods, the Buyer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.

6.4. Refunds: The Seller shall refund payments within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are delivered back or until the Buyer provides proof of having sent the goods back.

6.5. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the Buyer.

7. Liability for Defects (Warranty Claims)

7.1. The Seller is liable for defects that the goods have upon delivery and that manifest themselves within two years.

7.2. Processing Time: The Seller shall provide the Buyer with a repair or replacement within a reasonable time after the Buyer claims the defect. The Seller will process the warranty claim no later than 30 days. This period may only be exceeded if justified by an objective reason beyond the Seller's control (e.g., unavailability of specific material needed for repair), about which the Buyer will be informed in advance.

7.3. The Buyer is obliged to use and store the product in normal interior conditions. Unsuitable conditions (high humidity, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight) may cause changes to the material that are not considered product defects.

7.4. Wood Characteristics: Natural characteristics of the material are not considered defects, such as: slight color deviations, wood texture, knots, or minor surface cracks that do not affect the stability and functionality of the product. Wood is a living material and responds to ambient humidity and temperature.

7.5. Method of Claiming a Defect: The Buyer shall send the defect notification to the e-mail info@woodenbotanery.com. The Seller will confirm receipt of the claim without undue delay.

7.6. Buyer's Rights: The Buyer has the right to repair or replacement. If this is not possible, they have the right to a discount or to withdraw from the contract. The Seller will process the claim within a reasonable time.

8. Product Reviews

8.1. The Seller publishes reviews from Buyers on the website.

8.2. The Seller verifies the authenticity of reviews by ensuring the system only allows evaluations from Buyers who have actually made a purchase (verified via the e-mail address associated with the order).

9. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

9.1. If the Buyer is not satisfied with the way a warranty claim was handled, they may request remediation.

9.2. If the Seller responds negatively or fails to respond within 30 days, the Buyer may submit a proposal to initiate alternative dispute resolution to an ADR entity (e.g., the Slovak Trade Inspection). The list of ADR entities is maintained by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

10. Final Provisions

10.1. Personal data protection is governed by the "Privacy Policy" document.

10.2. These GTC are valid and effective as of February 19, 2026.

10.3. The Seller reserves the right to amend the GTC. The conditions valid at the time the order is sent are binding for the Buyer.
